This privacy statement applies to all services, reservations, orders, job applications, and other contact with La Vespa (including the locations in Laren, Bussum, and Zeist). La Vespa highly values the protection of your personal data. We process data with the utmost care, confidentially, and always in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Responsible party for this privacy statement
Depending on the location you contact, your personal data will be processed by the respective company within the La Vespa group. For questions regarding privacy or data processing, you can reach out via the general email address of the location concerned.
2. What data do we process under this privacy statement?
We only collect the personal data that is strictly necessary. Below you can read exactly what data we collect per situation, why we do this, and how long we retain it:
A. Reservations
- Data: Name and phone number.
- Purpose: Securing your table and being able to reach you if anything changes regarding your reservation.
- Retention period: Your data is used exclusively for the reservation and will be deleted from our system immediately after your time slot ends.
B. Website contact form
- Data: First name, last name, email address, subject, and your message.
- Purpose: Processing and answering your questions or comments.
- Retention period: Retained for as long as the nature of the form requires for its complete answering and handling.
C. Job applications
- Data: First name, last name, date of birth, phone number, email address, and (if voluntarily submitted) your resume/CV and passport photo.
- Purpose: Assessing your suitability for a position and going through the application procedure.
- Retention period: Application data is permanently deleted from our systems immediately after the application procedure is completed.
D. Camera surveillance (CCTV) in the locations
- Data: Video footage in and around the premises.
- Purpose: Securing our property, guests, and staff, and preventing theft.
- Retention period: Footage is automatically overwritten by new footage after 5 days in the Bussum, Laren, and Zeist locations, unless an incident has occurred requiring the footage for longer investigation.
E. Orders and Invoicing
- Data: Order details, invoice details, and any dietary requirements/allergies that are provided voluntarily.
- Purpose: Processing, preparing, and (if applicable) delivering orders, as well as maintaining financial administration.
- Retention period: Financial data is retained for 7 years to comply with the legal retention obligation of the Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst).
F. Website visits (Cookies & IP)
- Data: IP address and website data.
- Purpose: The La Vespa website uses functional and analytical cookies to ensure the website functions properly and to analyze anonymous usage for website improvement.
- Retention period: Depending on the specific cookie, but never longer than legally permitted.
3. Provision to third parties within this privacy statement
La Vespa never sells your personal data to third parties. We exclusively provide your data to external parties if this is strictly necessary for the execution of our services (such as our reservation system or a delivery service if applicable), administrative processing, or to comply with a legal obligation.
4. Security
La Vespa takes the protection of your data seriously. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
5. Your rights (Access, correction, and deletion)
As a data subject, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to object to the processing of your data. You can submit requests via the contact details of the relevant location. To ensure that the request has been made by you, we may ask you to identify yourself.
6. Complaints and changes
- Complaints: If we are unable to resolve the issue together, you always have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
